Facilities Management Module
Installed at Mount Cuba Center |
The first installation of the BG-Map Facilities Management Module has been completed at the Mount Cuba Center for the Study of Piedmont Flora in Greenville, Delaware, USA. Mount Cuba, which collaborated in the development of the software module, will use it to maintain records on its infrastucture, including equipment and above and below ground utilities. Dr. Richard Lighty, former director, originally compiled many of these records in the form of detailed written notes and sketches. |

The written data will be entered into a database, which is part of the Facilities Management Module. Pertinent sketches and photographs will be scanned and attached to the database records. Each item can also be mapped using the Center's total station surveying equipment.
